Back Alley Bikes: Bikes for a Cause

If you’ve been to Detroit, you know that it is a great place to bike. The terrain is flat. There are plenty of places to bike, and let’s face it, it’s way easier to avoid those nasty potholes…on your bike. That’s why it’s no surprise that there are quite a few bike-centered businesses in the city.

One of those is Back Alley Bikes, a non-profit, focused on providing cycling education and services with a focus on youth development, sustainable practices and community access.  Back Alley Bikes has been operating in the Cass Corridor for the past 15 years, and has had an awesome impact on the community.
